January:

Week 2(First Music Class):
Today we started introducing each other in music class. We also pick our instrument class.

Week 3:
Today we studied about the different scales like the c major scale and g major scale. We also played violin in the instrument class.

Week 4:
Today we continued again our study on the scales. For example the C major scale has how many notes and etc. We also played a song in violin class.

February:

Week 1: Now we started focusing more on the Asian music topic. We have 4 topics: Japanese, Chinese, Indian and Korean. My group did the Japanese music.

Week 2: Now we started doing our presentation on Japanese music. We also learn on the violin class another song from Suzuki book.

Week 3: Now we have almost got ready for the presentation. We just have to learn a bit more on the Asian music.

March:

Week1: We are presenting our work today. I had the part of saying and explaining of some of the Japanese instrument.

Week 2: We are getting ready to learn for the exam. Mr Herry also gave us a program to make music on. Its called finale program.

Week 3: We are doing our exam today.

TERM 3 MUSIC REFLECTION

For Term 3, I have accomplished many things. Such as playing my musical instruments and practising the major scales. It was all pretty boring this term. Although we made some music for the assesment. Mine was titled Life. It was about life, how it is and how painful it can be.

For the violin class, I played the Long Long Ago Variation song(NO.4 IN SUZUKI). It was an easy and joyful song. I also played another song. Such as Waltz. One time Mr Sadrakh was absent and we played games inside the violin class. I think violin class is the best instrument class because we like to joke around and not to serious in studying.

For the music theory, it was pretty hard for me because I can't do the major scales. Although the teacher was very kind. The teacher was Mr John. Mr John taught me many things. It was a great subject.

Music was pretty average for me this term. Maybe next term will be better.

Music Class Semester 2009 Reflection

Music Reflection 22/4:
Today I learned about making the finale profram. It was pretty easy to make because the program was very understandable. There was a couple of errors in the program though. I also did violin class today. Today Grace and Christian did their assesment again for a better score. Overall today for music was a great and easy day.
